A loving reminder, that in this new year we would seek God above all else, for it is from Him that we will draw the strength we need to leave behind the past, and embrace all that is ahead for us. 

What have you been holding onto that you still need to release?  Anything weighing you down, holding you back, keeping your thoughts or emotions prisoner?  You can’t fully grab hold of all God desires to give you unless you come empty handed ready to receive.  IT IS TIME.  God gives us the ability to move on, to forgive, to release, to change, to heal, to start again… we simply must surrender.

He is the one that makes us BRAVE.  What is impossible for us is possible through Him.  The most exciting part is that the best is yet to come!  We can trust wholeheartedly that He will turn our pain into purpose, our mourning into dancing, and work all things together for our good.

Let go of fear and trust in faith that God is moving and that a beautiful story is being written.  Allow the author of life itself to be the author of your next chapter.  Abide in Him, follow His lead, and commit yourself to His ways.  He will not let you down.
